Criteria of Judges

1. Judges from Kiwanis Malaysia District:

• Familiarity with Kiwanis values and objectives.
• Understanding of community service and the impact on mothers and families.
• In-depth knowledge of local community needs and challenges.

Judges from Kiwanis Malaysia Academy:

• Expertise in community development and family support programs.
• Knowledge of educational initiatives that benefit mothers and children.
• Experience in assessing the effectiveness of social impact projects.

3. Judges from Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail:

• Awareness of local community dynamics and demographics.
• Involvement in community service projects related to the special needs community..
• Understanding of the specific challenges faced by mothers in the community.

4. Judges from the Welfare Department of Malaysia:

• Professional background in social work, family welfare, or related fields.
• Familiarity with government policies and initiatives supporting mothers and families.
• Ability to assess nominees’ impact on the welfare of mothers and children.

5. Judges from the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development:

• Expertise in policies and programs related to women, family, and community development.
• Knowledge of national initiatives addressing challenges faced by mothers.
• Understanding of the government’s role in promoting the well-being of families.

6. Judges from Main Sponsors:

• Corporate representatives with a commitment to corporate social responsibility.
• Evaluation based on the alignment of nominees’ activities with the sponsor’s values.
• Consideration of nominees’ impact on the community and their potential as ambassadors for the sponsor.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ALL JUDGES:
Independence and Impartiality:

• Judges must remain impartial and avoid any conflicts of interest.
• Assess nominees solely based on the established criteria.

Thorough Evaluation:

• Review each nominee’s materials comprehensively before the judging process.
• Consider both quantitative and qualitative aspects of their contributions.
